First I must say this particular car is a bit special, I wont use the word rare, but you may not find another one in NZ like it. This was previously owned by a genuine car collector, and is in new condition. It is a new NZ vehicle, it is a genuine “Abarth” it is also a genuine “Esseesse” model, what does that mean, the word Esseesse redefines the word “Retro” or old school, this entire car with it genuine badges, graphics, stripes, has a theme, and a hint of old school pedigree.

For those interested, Fiat had a connection with Abarth back in the 1950’s, when Carlo Abarth began competing in motor sport events. Abarth motorsports, began by manufacturing performance and tuning accessories for Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and Porsche.

Its only when you slow down with your eyes to see the craftsman design work, the subtle use of carbon fibre, with a nice contrast with a white dash board, the cross drilled brakes, send a message to its racing theme, standing at the back its tailpipes are designed with perfect symmetry and balance.

This delightful little car can carry 4 people, the back seat is not to bad, and as I sat there with the electric convertible sliding roof opening, which goes the full length of the car, I could blue sky and the Mount, I thought all rather cool.

All of the original books are in there appropriate pouch.

Our small European niche car yard at Mount Maunganui, is very fortunate to have a specialist European service centre, European Auto Tech, so last week this car had a full service, replacing all filters and oils, issued a new WOF, I have the receipt for all work carried out.
